My journey in real estate began back in 1997 in Waukesha, WI, when I met my husband, Darin, who was working as a home inspector, rental agent, and rehabber. At the time, I was teaching as a college instructor and working in marketing, and many of our early conversations revolved around homes, renovations, and the local real estate market. I fell in love with Darin—and also with real estate.
Not long after, we bought a 100‑year‑old home to renovate. Then another. And another. We lived in them, improved them, sold them, and moved on to the next project. As our family grew, our kids learned right alongside us. Those years of hands‑on rehabbing taught me the true cost of repairs, which updates add the most value, and just how emotional buying or selling a home can be.
As our experience grew, I joined Darin in the home inspection business and later in foundation consulting. What started with selling our own flips eventually led me to earn my real estate license—and before long, helping people buy and sell homes became my calling. I love using my background in education to guide clients through each step, especially first‑time buyers who may not realize they can qualify for a home.
Today, I’ve been a real estate broker for over 10 years and helped more than 100 families throughout Brookfield, Waukesha, New Berlin, Pewaukee, West Allis, and beyond. I enjoy helping sellers choose the right updates to maximize profit, helping buyers define their goals so we can create a strong strategy together, and I truly love negotiating on my clients’ behalf.
Real estate is personal to me. It’s about families, stewardship, stories, and finding a place you truly love. I’m honored every time someone invites me to be part of that journey.
